Przemek Sobocki is a Tokyo based Polish illustrator, art director and designer with a background in interior and fashion design, which gives him a good understanding of both fields. Sobocki has won many awards for his illustration work including the prestigious 2005 V&A Illustration Award for Best Editorial. From Tokyo he has a global client base that includes Louis Vuitton, Shiseido, Isetan, Alain Mikli, Beams, FARFETCH. His editorial work includes publications such as Harper`s Bazaar Korea, Harper's Bazaar Japan, Harper's Bazaar Taiwan, Numero Tokyo, Nylon Japan, ELLE Japon, A Magazine curated by.. among others. Sobocki has also collaborated with designers such Stephen Jones and Manish Arora as well as with artists such Joanna Wang. Apart from commercial and editorial work Sobocki also specialises in window displays, wall-paintings/murals and short animated movies and most recently did the ground floor retail display for Isetan as well as art direction for Anniversary project of Alain Mikli Japon, including
window displays of its flagship Aoyama store.
He is represented by AVGVST management in Japan and Jil Wu Artiste in Asia.
